Back to the drawing board

I have decided that I'm going to take "the blanket poncho" apart and start all over. All of that hard work for nothing! But I am so disgusted with the fact that it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, and the fact that I didn't realize it until all the work was done. I started on another one that I was commissioned to make last night after work and got a little more than half of it done. I am going to finish it tonight and watch a new dvd I got in the mail yesterday, this will make me feel better because it's turning out fabulous (soft pink and chocolate brown). I will post photos when I get home. I wish I'd brought it to work with me today, I am going to have some down time this afternoon, I guess I'll just do a little surfing. I got another order for 2 more child's ponchos for Christmas. I'm going to be very busy for the next few weeks, it's a good thing it's doing something I love to do and that relaxes me (other than thinking of the blanket poncho...argh!). I do want to make myself an asymmetrical poncho, that pink and brown is appealing to me, it will go great with my new pink corduroy slacks, and serve as self-promotion.
